You can use apps like Waterbug or Planta to help remind you when to water. No new growth and yellowing leaves that are dropping off can be signs of overwatering. • How do I know it's time to repot my plant?
We recommend repotting your houseplant when the roots begin to wrap around the pot and become visible. If you see roots coming out the drainage holes, it is a good idea to go up one pot size (i.e. move from a 4-inch pot to a 6-inch pot). Another sign that it is time to repot is when water runs straight through the soil during watering. Bring your plant from home to our Potting Bar, so we can help you select the right size pot and help you safely transfer your plant.
